Get ready to unleash your inner Jackson Pollock! Our Splatter Paint Party is all about movement, energy, and creating one-of-a-kind masterpieces. Instead of brushes and careful strokes, you’ll be dripping, flicking, and splashing paint onto your canvas in true Pollock style.

Think bold colours flying through the air, paint dancing across the canvas, and everyone laughing as they create wild, vibrant art. It’s messy, it’s exciting, and it’s the perfect way to celebrate while making art that’s totally unique.

Inspired by the abstract expressionist legend himself, you’ll learn how to layer paint, experiment with motion, and let loose in a totally creative way. By the end, you’ll walk away with a splatter painting that’s as bold and free-spirited as you are.

Perfect for birthdays, team events, or just an excuse to throw paint around with friends

What To Expect:
The Birthday Guest of Honour will choose a colour theme to keep the splatters vibrant and bold. Once the stage is set, everyone jumps into the fun, flinging, dripping, and splashing paint onto their 8x10 canvases in a high-energy, no-rules painting experience. Once the individual canvases are done, guests will then create one massive canvas to collaborate on with instruction from the Birthday Guest of Honour. Once finished, canvases will stay at the studio to dry overnight. Canvases will be available for pickup within 72 hours. Once registered, you will be contacted with various colour themes to choose from!

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I Bring Food & Drinks?
- You are more than welcome to bring nut free snacks and drinks in leak proof containers. Please be advised that there is no fridge on the premises. Don't worry about the cleaning up or the mess!

Can Parents Stay For Parties?
- Other than the party parents (the birthday child’s parents), we kindly ask that all guests be dropped off. Our space is cozy, and keeping the group small helps us avoid distractions and run a smooth, fun event for the young artists. There are lots of great spots nearby like coffee shops, restaurants, malls, and more to enjoy while they wait. Thanks so much for your understanding!

How Much Time Do We Have During Our Party?
- All parties are scheduled for 2 hours unless previously discussed and arranged. To make sure every celebration gets the time and attention it deserves, we kindly ask that you and your guests arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your scheduled start time and depart within 10 minutes after your scheduled end time. Arriving too early or staying late may overlap with other celebrations we are hosting, and to help keep things running smoothly an additional $50 fee will be applied in either case. Thank you so much for understanding and for helping us create a wonderful experience for your group and for others.

What Should I Wear?
- All participants are strongly advised to wear clothes that are able to get messy, we prefer clothes that do not have any sentimental value. There are no aprons available for students. Shoes are mandatory.

When Will My Project Be Ready For Pick Up?
- To avoid messy cars, Splatter Party canvases will be left at the studio to be dried and varnished. You will be contacted for pick-up within 72 hours. Any Canvases left at the studio after a 3 month period will be donated. The Party parent will pick up all of the Canvases to be distributed to the Party guests.

Can Every Child Use Their Own Colour Scheme?
- To avoid making brown, guests don’t choose their own individual colour schemes. That’s because when too many colours are splattered on top of each other, they can mix into a muddy brown. Instead, before each party, the Birthday Guest of Honour selects a customizable colour scheme of five colours. Each guest will then choose from that shared palette to keep everything vibrant and cohesive.

Where Can Party Parents Park?
- There is meter and street parking in the front of the store. There is one spot directly behind the studio reserved for Party Parents. Any additional vehicles parked in the back or side parking lot is subject to be towed at your own expense.

What If I am going to be late?
- We recommend arriving on time and requesting guests arrive on time so you don't miss out on important instructions. Please inform us via phone or email if you are going to be late. If you arrive late, please be courteous to the instructor and participants and we will get you caught up. After 30 minutes, you will be considered a no-show and will be rebooked at your own expense.

I Need To Reschedule, What Do I Do?
- If you need to reschedule for any reason, please let us know no more than 24 hours prior to your scheduled event or appointment so we can reschedule. No-shows will not be given a refund or an opportunity to reschedule.

I Need To Cancel My Booked Party, Can I Get a Refund?
-
Unfortunately,  we do not offer refunds for cancelled parties, as materials are purchased in advance to prepare for your event. However, you may be eligible for a credit that can be used toward another party, day camp, class or workshop. Please read our Reschedule Policy to see if you are eligible for a rescheduling opportunity.

How Many Guests Do I Book For My Party?
- If you are unsure about the number of confirmed guests attending your party, select the Deposit Only option to reserve your party, which is $50 plus tax and will be counted towards your final total. This deposit is Non-Refundable. You will also be contacted prior to your Splatter Party to get a guest count.

What Happens If I Go Over My Party Time?
- We give a 10 minute grace period for every party. Due to having other bookings, we will charge an additional $50 after the 10 minute grace period. We understand that sometimes you may be late, however you are not permitted to go past your party time to make up for the lost time. This will be paid in store or you will be sent an invoice. Any unpaid invoices will result in the withholding of your creations.

Can I Bring My Own Materials?
- Clay & Canvas provides all the materials you’ll need, so there’s no need to bring anything, but if you’d like to bring extra craft items like glitter, foil, or other fun materials, you’re more than welcome to! If you're thinking of bringing your own paint, please contact us first as our Splatter Paint is a special material, and we’d need to check if your paint is already available at the studio or if it’s compatible with our setup.
